PLEASE NOTE

With it being the First Year of the YORK edition of STELLAR CON, we decided to keep it simple & inclusive. Both Handmade & Store Bought Cosplays are welcome.

REMEMBER: We want you to know whether you’re a skilled crafter, or a nerd like us who just wants to hop on stage and have fun in their costume, YOU BELONG HERE. We love you for it.

SIGN UP INFO​

1) Signup is located at a table neat the Stage.

​

2) Contestants will be taken on a First Come, First Serve Basis until we are fully booked.

 

3) Contestants will be given further instructions upon signing up.

GUIDELINES

1) No real weapons, regardless if they’re functional or not. (Duh)

​

2) No explosives or fireworks of any kind. (Let’s keep everyone safe)

​

3) All Cosplayers are subject to inspection by staff and event security.

4) Weapons made of foam and cardboard are acceptable. Prop firearms are allowed provided they have bright tips and are subject to full inspection. 

​

5) All props, cosplay costumes and accessories will be deemed agreeable at the sole discretion of event staff to include security personnel and/or police.

​

6) Any cosplayer with prop weapons must have it inspected upon arriving at the event. Weapons check will be illustrated on the Event Map, which can be found on the Stellar Con Website. 

​

7) By entering the contest, you give permission to Stellar Con & Transcendent Events to use Contest Photos in future Social Media & Marketing.
